Vice President of Finance – Real Estate
A growing real estate development company based in South Florida is hiring a Vice President of Finance to oversee financial strategy and execution for mixed-use and multifamily projects from inception through stabilization. This role is highly involved and offers direct interaction with ownership, lenders, and equity partners in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with a lean organizational structure.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee construction and permanent financing closings in partnership with lenders and legal teams

Evaluate new development opportunities through detailed underwriting and financial modeling

Support asset management efforts throughout construction, lease-up, and stabilization phases

Monitor project budgets, loan draws, covenant compliance, and overall financial performance

Assist with capital raising initiatives, investor reporting, and preparation of investment materials

Perform market research and ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications

10+ years of experience in real estate finance or development, with a focus on multifamily projects

Demonstrated expertise in underwriting, financial modeling, and loan closings

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related discipline

CPA or CFA designation preferred

Advanced Excel skills; proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong communication abilities
