Vascular Ultrasound Technologist | Latham, NY

Our client, a well-established vascular practice, is currently seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist to join their team in Latham, NY. This individual will perform a wide range of noninvasive vascular studies in a collaborative outpatient setting while working alongside a team committed to high-quality patient care and continued professional growth. Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality noninvasive vascular ultrasound studies in an outpatient vascular setting

  • Conduct a broad range of vascular exams, which may include carotid / extracranial cerebrovascular, arterial duplex, venous duplex, physiologic testing / PVR, aorto-iliac, renal, mesenteric, dialysis access evaluations, and pre-op vein mapping

  • Prepare preliminary technical findings and communicate appropriately with physicians and clinical staff

  • Use sound judgment to identify normal versus abnormal vascular findings and adjust imaging techniques as appropriate

  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and exam records

  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and office staff to support efficient, high-quality patient care

  • Participate in quality improvement efforts and uphold strong clinical standards

Qualifications 

  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program preferred

  • Registered or registry-eligible vascular credential strongly preferred, such as RVT, RVS, or equivalent

  • Previous vascular ultrasound experience preferred

  • Strong technical ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

Expected Salary: $32–$48/hr, depending on experience, plus bonus and a comprehensive total rewards package that includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, and much more
