Valuations Manager (Alts)
A well-established alternative asset manager is seeking a Valuations Manager (or Senior) to join their back office team. This position will report directly to the VP, Valuations, and is responsible for working closely with PMs, and presenting to senior management and the valuation committee. This is a hybrid in-office position and the firm is looking to pay up to $140K base plus 30% bonus.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in overall coordination of monthly and quarterly valuations processes with relevant internal and external parties including third party service providers and auditor
- Compile valuations and supporting information and prepare summary packages to be reviewed by senior management and Valuation Committee
- Support the annual audit as well as interim reviews by tracking documentation and providing information requests to address open audit related items
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of experience in the Asset Management space
- Experience reviewing and building valuation models (DCF, Comparable Multiple, and Option Pricing Models
- CPA, CFA or MBA preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required, VBA experience preferred
