Valuation Specialist (Senior Associate or Manager) (Hybrid, 3 days in office)
A leading alternative asset management firm, that specializes in credit, located in Boston, is actively seeking a Valuation Specialist to join their team! This role is open to a Senior Associate or Manager level person, ideally with private debt/CLO experience. This person will be part of a global team that is responsible for Private Credit portfolio valuations as well as valuation-related reporting. Responsibilities:
- Assist in overall coordination of the firm’s monthly and quarterly valuation processes with relevant internal and external parties including third part service providers and auditors
- Compile valuations and supporting information and prepare summary packages to be reviewed by senior management and Valuation committee
- Support the annual audit as well as interim reviews by tracking documentation and providing information requests to address open audit related items
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5+ years of experience working in financial services
- Experience reviewing and building valuation models (DCF, Comparable Multiple, and Option Pricing Models)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Information Systems
- CPA/CFA strongly preferred
- Must be willing to work on a hybrid model
