Transaction Advisory Manager (M&A Due Diligence) – Boston – Hybrid
A professional services firm is seeking an experienced Transaction Advisory Manager to support buy-side and sell-side M&A engagements for middle-market companies and private equity clients. This role offers significant exposure to complex transactions, leadership responsibility, and client interaction within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Lead financial due diligence engagements across buy-side and sell-side transactions, supporting corporate and private equity clients.

Perform and present detailed analyses including cash flow, quality of earnings, working capital, asset quality, potential liabilities, and transaction risks.

Prepare comprehensive diligence reports and provide insights impacting valuation, purchase price adjustments, and deal structuring.

Manage engagements end-to-end, including planning, execution, and communication of accounting findings to senior stakeholders.

Identify transaction risks and develop practical solutions to support successful deal outcomes.

Supervise, mentor, and review work performed by junior team members.

Manage multiple concurrent engagements of varying complexity while maintaining deadlines and quality standards.

Build and maintain client relationships, contribute to business development efforts, and help identify market opportunities.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

4–6+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or transaction advisory, including 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.

Active CPA preferred.
