Technical Training Specialist

A well-established professional services organization is seeking a Technical Training  Specialist to join its technology team. This position combines end-user training, application support, and hands-on IT operations in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Training & User Enablement

  • Develop and deliver technology training programs for employees across the organization.
  • Create and maintain training materials, documentation, and eLearning resources.
  • Coordinate and facilitate instructor-led and virtual training sessions.
  • Assess training needs and develop learning solutions that support business and technology objectives.
  • Track training participation and maintain reporting and training records.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors on training initiatives.

IT Support

  • Provide on-site and remote Level 2 technical support for end users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated hardware, software, and application issues.
  • Support conference room technology, audiovisual systems, and meeting setups.
  • Assist with technology rollouts, upgrades, and special projects.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service while supporting business-critical technology.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT training, technical support, application support, or a related role.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience supporting users in a professional office environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Relevant experience in technical training, end-user support, or IT operations.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting professional services organizations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, conference room technology, and end-user computing environments.
  • Experience developing training content and delivering instructor-led training.
