Our thriving start up client in Boston has called on us to help them identify another superstar for their growing, dynamic software team. We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead with over 7 years of experience to lead 2 Senior Software Engineers (15-20%) while showing your skills as a hands on Lead Software Engineer (75-80%). Their established engineering team is passionate about innovation and excellence, and they are looking for a leader who can help drive their mission forward.
Key Responsibilities and Experience Needed:
- Lead and oversee the development of high-quality software solutions from conception to deployment (application is built in Django and related tooling)
- Mentor and guide a talented team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Architect scalable and maintainable systems, ensuring robust performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
- Embrace a testing-first approach to ensure all components are thoroughly tested within an automated CI/CD pipeline.
- Maintain a strong preference for automation, while exercising sound judgment to discern when manual intervention is more appropriate.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating them into projects where beneficial.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing strategic solutions to enhance our products.
