Technical Field Services Engineer | Georgia / Northern Florida Territory
We are seeking a Technical Field Services Engineer to join a high-growth, innovation-driven organization. This is more than a traditional field service role—it’s a high-impact, customer-facing opportunity for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and can operate independently. In this role, you’ll work directly with customers to troubleshoot and support advanced equipment, drive upgrades and service solutions, and play a key role in ensuring customer success. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional service while making a direct impact on business outcomes.
This is a direct hire position that will pay a base salary range of $80,000 – $100,000 (depending on experience). This position is 100% remote, that requires 50-75% local travel in specific territory.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on-site service engagements across warehouse and operational environments, diagnosing complex issues and driving timely resolution.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, partnering with customer stakeholders to optimize performance and influence key operational decisions.
- Identify and drive revenue opportunities through parts sales, system upgrades, and value-added service recommendations.
- Deliver high-quality customer training and promote adoption of best practices to maximize system performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and internal support teams, leveraging field insights to influence product enhancements and future innovation.
Qualifications:
- Technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
- 2+ years of experience in technical field service, sales engineering, equipment training, or a related customer-facing technical role.
- Demonstrated success in field service, technical consulting, or sales engineering, with a track record of delivering measurable results.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and systems troubleshooting skills, particularly with industrial or battery-powered equipment.
- Commercially minded with the ability to identify opportunities for additional services, upgrades, and solutions beyond break/fix support.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to quickly establish credibility and influence stakeholders.
- Self-driven and highly autonomous, with the ability to excel in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.
