Technical Accounting Manager – Greater Boston – Hybrid
A leading asset management firm is seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to join its finance team. This role will play a key role in evaluating complex transactions, interpreting evolving accounting guidance, and supporting strategic initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities:

Evaluate and determine accounting treatment for complex transactions (business combinations, equity method investments, non-controlling interests, and partnership structures)

Assess the accounting implications of strategic initiatives involving existing and prospective partner firms

Research and interpret evolving accounting guidance and ensure timely implementation of new standards

Advise leadership on potential accounting and financial reporting risks related to new transactions or regulatory changes

Monitor developments from standard-setting bodies and assess potential impacts on the organization

Partner with internal teams across finance and corporate development to support strategic initiatives
- Support external audit processes and maintain effective collaboration with external auditors
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA strongly preferred

5+ years of experience with strong technical accounting exposure, public accounting strongly preferred

Experience with complex transaction accounting and financial reporting research
This opportunity offers a competitive compensation and bonus. The approximate base salary range is between $120K-$180K. This role is located on the North Shore is requires you to be on-site 3 days per week. Contact Erin at [email protected] for more information.
