Tax Partner
A midsized CPA firm located just south of Boston is looking for a Tax Partner to join their team. My client is seeking professionals who have experience as a partner or principal, and someone who is working with a book that is at least $1M. The Tax Partner will have a generalist skillset, including smaller entities and High Net Worth individuals, s-corps, and partnership.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute complex tax engagements
- Timely filing of corporate, fiduciary, charitable, partnership, and personal tax returns with an emphasis on problem resolution
- Communicate directly with clients and build/mange client relationships
- Lead, direct, and mentor Staff Accounts; review the tax preparation work of other Tax accounts
Qualifications:
- CPA License required & a Masters of Tax or LLM
- Book of business is NOT required (candidate will take over book that is $1M)
- 10+ years of public accounting experience; partner at a Top 25 accounting firm
- Deep understanding of taxation with a focus on closely-held business; S-Corporations; Partnerships; LLC’s; high net worth individuals etc.
- Experience reviewing and signing complex federal and state income tax returns
