Tax Manager | Amherst, MA
Our Client is a public accounting firm in the Amherst, MA area. The firm is one of the largest public accounting firms in the nation. They are looking for a Tax Manager to join their practice. The tax manager will oversee a team, be client-facing, and work closely with the partners managing this location. The Firm is looking for a generalist. The clients are corporate. The tax manager should have experience with partnerships, S-corps, and C-corps. The tax manager must be able to mentor and train the staff. A CPA is required. The target base salary is $145,000-$170,000 plus bonus. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of experience in public accounting or related field
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- Must have active CPA or equivalent certification
- Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Target base salary $145,000 to $170,000 plus bonus
