Tax Associate | Beverly MA | Wealth Management
Our team is working with a leading wealth advisor looking to hire a Tax Associate for their growing team. This role focuses on preparing a variety of tax returns, including individual, trust, gift, and partnership filings, while supporting tax planning efforts such as quarterly estimated payments. Responsibilities include assisting with audits, responding to notices, conducting tax research, and addressing client inquiries by gathering required information and providing clear guidance.

Responsibilities:

Prepare individual, trust, gift, and partnership tax returns

Assist with tax planning for the preparation of quarterly estimated tax payments

Assist with tax audits, notices, and tax research projects

Take ownership of tasks and be able to work with others to prioritize work assignments

Handle multiple engagements at one time and meet deadlines

Produce deliverables that are clear, concise, thorough, and of professional quality

Dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations and requirements of all clients

Handle routine client tax questions, research tax issues, and work with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance

Stay current on new tax legislation
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
-
1-2 years of experience with individual, trust, and partnership income tax returns

Experience with CCH Axcess or ProSystem Fx is preferred
-
Financial Services or Family Office experience is a plus
-
CPA and/or MS in Taxation is a plus
