Tax Associate
We are currently seeking candidates for a Tax Associate opportunity with a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston. The Tax Associate will be responsible for preparing tax work papers, Federal and State tax returns, and internal reporting. My client is seeking a young professional with 0- 1 year of experience, who is a highly motivated individual and interested in Tax.
Responsibilities:
- Meet investor Service and Investor Limited Partner deliverables including, providing accurate draft tax return/K1 info during tax season
- Prepare tax work papers including partnership allocations and tax basis capital schedules and maintain our information database
- Prepare Federal and state partnership and corporate tax returns, including state appointment information for 600 entities, including approx. 3,500 state filings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in Accounting preferred
- 0-1 years of finance, accounting, tax, or related experience (internships included)
- Must have the ability to be flexible and work overtime during busy season
- Highly motivated, able to handle cyclical workloads with peak periods of high demand
- Proficient with MS office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
