Tax Associate (Hybrid, 2 days in office)
A well-known investment management firm, located in Boston, is actively seeking a Tax Associate to join their team. This person would be responsible for preparing tax work papers, Federal and states tax returns, as well as internal reporting via Excel and internal software. Responsibilities:
- Meet Investor Service and Investor Limited Partner deliverable requirements, including, providing accurate draft tax return/K1 info during tax season pursuant to an agreed-upon due date schedule for approximately 250 funds.
- Prepare tax work papers including partnership allocations and tax basis capital schedules and maintain our information database.
- Prepare Federal and state partnership and corporate tax returns, including state apportionment information for approximately 600 entities, including approximately 3,500 state filings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (concentration in accounting preferred)
- 0-1 years finance, accounting, tax or related experience; graduate-level education may count toward experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Must be willing to work on a hybrid model
