Talent Acquisition Specialist
We are currently seeking candidates for a Talent Acquisition Specialist (full-cycle) position at a highly successful global consumer brand located in Boston, MA. The Talent Acquisition Specialist (full-cycle) will perform full-cycle recruiting for retail positions across multiple store locations for hourly and management-level retail roles. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of full-cycle recruiting/talent acquisition experience in an agency, retail, manufacturing, hospitality, or related environment/focus.
This is a 5-6-month contract position that will pay between $35-$45/hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work model consisting of three days on-site and two days remote per week.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting for retail positions across multiple store locations, from requisition intake through offer and onboarding
- Collaborate with retail hiring managers and district/regional leaders to understand staffing needs, workforce planning, and seasonal hiring surges
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for hourly and management-level retail roles using a variety of channels (job boards, social media, referrals, career fairs, community partnerships)
- Create and manage a strong pipeline of qualified candidates to support ongoing and seasonal hiring needs
- Partner with the broader TA team to align on process, tools, and employer branding while maintaining ownership of retail-specific hiring
- Establish a positive, efficient candidate experience from application through offer
- Track and report on key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, offer acceptance rate, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and company hiring practices
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve retail hiring processes and reduce time-to-fill
- Provide additional support as needed
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of full-cycle recruiting/talent acquisition experience in an agency, retail, manufacturing, hospitality, or related environment/focus
- Must have a demonstrated record of success recruiting for hourly, high-volume positions
- Ability to manage a high-volume requisition load across multiple locations simultaneously
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and candidate-friendly approach
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize competing demands
