Stop Loss Underwriter – Insurance – Remote
A growing organization in healthcare risk is seeking a Stop Loss Underwriter to support pricing and risk evaluation for a portfolio of employer-based coverage. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while contributing to profitable growth.
Responsibilities:

Evaluate risk and develop pricing recommendations for new and renewal business within established guidelines
- Analyze claims data and identify key cost drivers to inform underwriting decisions
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to support business development efforts
- Provide guidance on plan design and coverage structures
- Support the sales process through pricing strategy and case consultation
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies
- Manage assigned workload to meet deadlines and service expectations
- Contribute to process improvements and support broader underwriting initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in underwriting
