Staff Accountant
We are currently seeking candidates for a Staff Accountant at a technology-based co. in Cambridge MA, 02142. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in similar role(s).
This is a temporary role (est. 4+ months) with an opportunity for extension and/or permanent hire.
Hourly pay rate: Up to $45.00 (based on relative work experience) within a 40-hour work week.
Responsibilities:
- Balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis
- Reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Reconcile Bank Statements
- Perform Journal Entries and Adjustments
- Reconcile General Ledger Accounts
- Assist in month-end close responsibilities
- Provide financial reporting (quarterly and year-end)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years accounting and month end close experience
- High proficiency with Excel
- Ability to manage multiple items at once
- Strong system skills and reconciliation skills
- Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred though not required
