Social Media Marketing Specialist – Boston, MA
We are currently seeking candidates for a Social Media Marketing Specialist to join a highly successful Private Equity firm located in Boston, MA. The Social Media Marketing Specialist will work closely with branding, public relations, writing, design, and digital teams in driving and promotion social media strategy, goals, and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of social media experience in financial services/investment management industry.
This is a 12+ month contract opportunity, paying between $27-$32/hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work model, consisting on 3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with global and regional writing, design, and digital teams regarding social posts, social content, website modules, etc.
- Work with public relations team in prioritizing and promoting current and upcoming events, news, promotions, etc. via social media channels
- Manage Social Media Content Calendar on a daily basis
- Drive social media strategy, goals, and initiatives, and manage social posts with internal partners (social strategy, events, etc.)
- Manage global paid social in-house via LinkedIn Campaign Manager: develop audiences, select and promote key content (podcasts, MTM), reporting dashboards, etc.
- Review social posts and ensure social content adheres to regulatory and compliance guidelines
- Collaborate with compliance on Social Media Policy and Social Media Desk Procedures
- Deliver data and reporting on social media marketing efforts
- Participate in monthly calls with LinkedIn representatives to discuss current campaigns, optimizations, new features, etc.
- Oversee Sprinklr Partnership and manage YouTube channel
- Manage content syndication, monthly reporting reviews and read outs, and SharePoint site
- Conduct creative refreshes and updates (brand video, updated assets, audio ads, etc.)
- Manage brand campaign landing page and insights page to align featured content and cast members with ads in rotation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 2+ years of social media marketing experience ideally in financial services/investment management industry
- Analytical skills to track and interpret standard social media metrics, such as:
- Engagement: likes, shares, interactions, click thru-rates reach: impressions, followers
- Website traffic: sessions, new users, time on site (familiarity with Adobe or GA a plus)
- Experience executing and planning paid advertising on social media platforms
- Experience with social media community management and publishing tools, such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprinklr, Sprout Social
- Experience with social media publishing and regulatory platforms (SharePoint and/or Hearsay)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
