Senior Systems Analyst – Trade Operations

We are seeking candidates for a Senior Systems Analyst – Trade Operations position with a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. This role will support the firm’s global investment professionals by providing technology solutions and day-to-day support across Equity, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset, Alternatives, and Hedge Fund strategies. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of trade lifecycle management experience to serve as a trusted partner to front and middle office investment teams.

This is a 12+ month contract-to-hire position that will pay $55-65/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hourworkweek. This position supports a hybrid work model, onsite 4 days per week, remote 1 day per week in their Boston office.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to investment professionals, providing functional and technical support for trade lifecycle management systems.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement or coordinate effective solutions.
  • Support end users by resolving functional, data, and system-related questions in a timely manner.
  • Lead production incident calls for critical system or data issues when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with both business users and technical teams to drive issue resolution.
  • Maintain high service levels in a fast-paced, business-critical support environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of business analysis or systems analysis experience within global capital markets.
  • Strong understanding of front and middle office trade lifecycle processes.
  • Experience supporting Order Management Systems (OMS) such as CRD, Murex, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL is required.
  • Solid knowledge of financial products, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, swaps, futures, forwards, and options.
  • Experience working with investment data, including holdings, transactions, security master, performance, attribution, and analytics.
  • Proven experience supporting investment professionals in a production environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
