Senior Manager, Financial Reporting – Long Island
A manufacturing company located on Long Island is seeking a hands-on, experienced Senior Manager of Financial Reporting to join a growing, fast-paced organization. This role is ideal for a progressive CPA who thrives in a dynamic environment and can lead reporting initiatives while partnering closely with accounting and cross-functional teams.
Compensation: $150,000-175,000 base + bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial reporting function, including preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements
- Prepare quarterly reporting packages and presentations for banking partners
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and IAS; research technical accounting matters and new pronouncements
- Drive improvements in processes and internal controls
- Partner on budgeting, audits, KPI reporting, and financial/operational analysis
- Support cross-departmental information flow and contribute to special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Active CPA required with 5+ years of experience
- Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency
