Senior Fund Accountant – (Hybrid)
Compensation – $95K Base+ Bonus!
A premier Private Equity firm, located in Boston, is searching for a Senior Fund Accountant to join their team! The primary focus will be the preparation and reconciliation of the quarterly investment activity. They are looking for a detail-oriented professional with fund administration / public accounting experience. If you’re interested, please keep reading!
Responsibilities:
- Manage Quarterly NAV’s and reporting for Investment Pooled Vehicles.
- Reconciliation of Activity in QuickBooks.
- Gather information needed by outside accountants to produce Audited Financial Statements.
- Manage Account Payable and Receivables for all Entities.
- Prepare monthly accounting back up needed for Funds maintained by outside Fund Administrator.
- Oversee cash movements for Capital Calls, contributions, distributions and redemptions.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of fund administration or public accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong emphasis on Excel proficiency
