Senior FP&A Specialist – New York City, NY
We are seeking a Senior FP&A Specialist to join a growing SaaS company based in New York City. This role will support advanced financial modeling, monthly forecasting and reporting, SaaS ARR data management, and system integrations across Salesforce, Sage Intacct, and Maxio. The ideal candidate will bring 5–8+ years of FP&A and financial modeling experience within a SaaS environment.
This is a 2-3 month contract position that will pay $45-55/hr (depending on experience). All qualified candidates who are located on EST and 100% remote will be considered.
Responsibilities:

Improve and maintain advanced and complex Excel financial actual, forecast and budget model

Support CFO, VP of Finance and Controller through 2026 budget planning crunch through end of Jan 2026 final budget presentation to Board

Update model monthly with actuals, budgets, headcount, expense and ARR data flowing through 3 statements (P&L, BS and CF)

Automate manual processes using Excel (Power Query, data connections, etc.)

Maintain and enhance ARR/customer subscription database

Reconcile and align data across Salesforce, Sage Intacct, and Maxio (project)
Qualifications:

BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required

MBA or CFA is a plus

5-7+ years of FP&A. financial modeling, or related finance experience

SaaS experience is required, including hands-on exposure to subscription/ARR modeling, SaaS KPIs, and revenue mechanics

Strong understanding of SaaS ARR mechanics and SaaS KPI frameworks (retention, expansion, cohort analysis, CAC payback, LTV, etc.).

Expert-level Excel power/user modeling skills

Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Sage Intacct, and Maxio is preferred
