Finance, Senior Associate/Manager – $50B Credit Fund in Downtown Boston (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Our client, a $50B alternative asset manager focused on credit, is looking to add a Senior Associate to their growing Finance team. This person will be responsible for reviewing fund NAVs, investor capital account statements and financial reports, monitoring and validating fund level expenses, supporting the audit process, and partnering cross-functionally with internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Review fund NAVs, investor capital account statements, and financial reports prepared by third-party fund administrators.
- Monitor and validate fund-level expenses, management fees, performance allocations, and other key calculations.
- Coordinate with external administrators, auditors, and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of reporting packages, audit materials, and regulatory filings.
- Assist in the review of capital call and distribution notices before delivery to investors.
Requirements:
- 3-7 years of experience, with at least 2 years in public accounting or fund administration (Big 4 or asset management clients preferred)
- Understanding of US GAAP, with a focus on investment fund accounting and financial reporting
- Hands-on experience with debt instruments and structured products
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent analytics and problem solving skills
$115K – $150K base salary dependent on experience
