Senior Corporate Accountant – Galveston, TX – Onsite
We’re partnering with a growing general contractor in Galveston, Texas seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its team. This is a high-visibility role with ownership of key close and reporting functions.
This position is onsite 5 days a week, it will pay between $100-110K on a base salary and offers excellent benefits and strong room for career growth and advancement.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and support audits
- Manage GL and assist with WIP and job costing
- Partner with operations on project financials
Qualifications
- 4–7+ years of accounting experience (construction highly preferred)
- Strong G/L accounting experience required
- Strong GAAP knowledge; WIP/job costing experience a plus
- CPA (or pursuing) a plus
- Strong Technical Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
