Senior Asset Manager (Onsite, 5X a week, West Palm Beach, FL)
Our client is a growing and successful real estate investment management firm in West Palm Beach and they are seeking a 5+ year asset management professional to join their team. The Senior Asset Manager is responsible for maximizing the value of a portfolio of real estate assets through strategic business plan execution, financial oversight, and active market engagement. This role partners closely with investment, development, property management, and capital markets teams to drive performance from acquisition through disposition.
*Minimum of 5 years of multi-family asset experience is mandatory*
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute asset-level business plans to enhance revenue, control expenses, and optimize value
- Oversee third-party property management, leasing, and professional service providers; monitor performance and resolve issues as needed
- Participate in acquisition and development underwriting, due diligence, and investment committee presentations
- Drive post-acquisition and value-add strategies, including lease-up, stabilization, and capital improvements
- Collaborate with development teams during construction to ensure alignment with financial and strategic objectives
- Review and approve operating budgets, capital plans, and financial reports; monitor lender compliance and loan covenants
- Prepare quarterly asset reviews, valuation models, and investor reporting materials
- Monitor market conditions and recommend strategic adjustments, including capital events or disposition timing
- Lead asset dispositions, including broker engagement, buyer negotiations, and closing oversight
- Travel regularly to properties and local markets
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree with a real estate focus preferred
- Minimum five years of relevant experience, including multi-asset and multi-family management responsibility
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience with real estate acquisitions, joint ventures, and development projects preferred
- Must be willing to work onsite 5X a week
