Title: Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant
Location: Fall River MA (onsite for the first 3-6 months then Hybrid 3 days in and 2 days home)
Type: Contract to Hire
Pay rate: $38.00 per hour
This is an unique role, We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Accountant. This position needs to have an Accountant that can work through the month end process and reconcile G/L accounts and provide reporting while Posting cash and reducing DSO. This professional will be hands on and needs to have strong debits and credits.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare general ledger reconciliations, deferred sales revenue, sales tax, billing, royalties, and commissions.
- Process all aspects of the Revenue Cycle and Accounts Receivable, including but not limited to reporting, reconciliation, payment application, and collections.
- Serve as liaison to internal and external customers.
- Ensuring the accuracy of the monthly commission reports.
- Build relationships at all levels of the organization to promote strong communication
- .Assist the Controller in the finance department system integrations.
- Assist the Controller in developing and implementing strong internal controls.
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and understanding of GAAP accounting required.
- 3 + years of accounting experience.
- Exposure to system implementation is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and manufacturing ERP systems.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
