Senior Accountant – Corporate Accounting | Fort Lauderdale, FL
A leading national private equity-backed RV dealership organization in Ft. Lauderdale is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team.
This is an opportunity to join a growing, multi-entity organization in a highly visible role reporting directly to the Chief Accounting Officer, with regular exposure to the CFO. The position will focus on corporate debt accounting, complex consolidations, financial reporting, and lender-related reporting across multiple legal entities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage corporate debt accounting, including amortization schedules, interest accruals, principal payments, and interest rate swaps.
- Prepare and review intercompany reconciliations, journal entries, and elimination entries.
- Prepare consolidated and standalone GAAP financial statements across multiple legal entities.
- Prepare lender reporting packages, covenant compliance certificates, EBITDA reconciliations, and borrowing base calculations.
- Support treasury activities, including cash forecasting, wire transfers, and debt-related payments.
- Prepare monthly management reporting packages and support executive-level financial analysis.
- Own assigned month-end close responsibilities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting deliverables.
- Work closely with the CAO, CFO, FP&A, external auditors, lenders, and outside advisors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA license or actively pursuing CPA.
- Prior experience with NetSuite.
- Experience with debt accounting, including loans, revolvers, mortgages, and interest rate swaps.
- Strong understanding of intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidations.
- Experience with GAAP financial reporting and lender reporting.
- Familiarity with debt covenant compliance and borrowing base calculations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
$90K-$110K base salary, depending on experience
