Senior Accountant – Sweansa, MA – Manufacturing
A leading manufacturer of luxury quality linens is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to their growing team. The Senior Accountant will report to the Controller, the Senior Accountant is responsible for accounting duties related to maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, including month-end closing and limited duties pertaining to Sales and Accounts Receivables.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Process all aspects of the Revenue Cycle and Accounts Receivable, including but not limited to reporting, reconciliation, payment application, and collections.

Prepare accurate general ledger reconciliations, including deferred sales revenue, sales tax, billing, royalties, and commissions.

Ensuring the accuracy of the monthly commission reports.

Serve as liaison to internal and external customers.

Build relationships at all levels of the organization to promote strong communication.

Assist the Controller in developing and implementing strong internal controls.

Assist the Controller in the finance department system integrations.

Additional duties as needed.
Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and understanding of GAAP accounting required.

3-5 years of accounting experience. Familiarity with system implementation.

Proficiency in Excel, Word, and manufacturing ERP systems. Highly attention to detail & strong analytical skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work at full-time capacity on a team.

Must be able to work independently.

Leadership skills preferred.
