Senior Accountant – Back Bay
Our client, a multi-strategy asset manager with over $20b in AUM is seeking a Senior Accountant. Responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly financial packages and annual audited financial statements for multiple private funds
- Review monthly and quarterly reporting provided by fund administrator
- Prepare capital calls and distributions
- Monitor and review daily cash activity and manage invoice payments and accruals
- Work with auditors on internal controls and annual audit work
- Prepare management fee and incentive fee calculations
- Handle tax work, including coordination of federal and state payments with the tax advisor
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- 2+ years of relevant work experience in public accounting or in the financial services industry
- CPA, or progress towards obtaining a CPA, a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office
