Senior Accountant – Fall River
A growing, publicly traded organization is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join its finance team. This role supports financial reporting, month-end close, treasury operations, and compliance while partnering closely with senior finance leadership. The position offers meaningful visibility and impact across core accounting processes.
Compensation: $100,000- 120,000 annually
Key Responsibilities
- Manage operating expense analysis, accruals, and complex GL accounts.
- Support quarterly and annual SEC filings.
- Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Partner with internal and external auditors; support SOX and US GAAP compliance.
- Oversee corporate insurance programs and related risk management activities.
- Support treasury operations, including cash forecasting and banking administration.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and cross-functional finance projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 5+ years of accounting experience (or 3+ with CPA or Master’s).
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to be onsite, in office 4 days/week.
