Senior Accountant – Downtown Miami – Hospitality
Our team is working with a leading hospitality services company looking to hire a Senior Accountant to their growing team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for leading the company’s accounting and financial operations across multiple business units, with full ownership of the end-to-end accounting cycle and P&L performance. The position oversees close, reporting, audit, and compliance activities while ensuring accurate, timely financial information in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Working closely with executive leadership, the role supports strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, providing clear insight into financial results and key drivers. In addition, the position plays a hands-on role in strengthening internal controls, managing tax and cash flow activities, and improving systems and processes to support scalability, efficiency, and long-term growth.

Responsibilities:

Oversee complete accounting cycle: GL, AP, AR, payroll, intercompany, and multi-entity consolidations

Own P&L outcomes across business units—budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and monthly/quarterly reporting

Manage month-end/year-end closes, audit processes, and external financial reporting per U.S. GAAP

Develop, implement, and strengthen internal controls and compliance frameworks

Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning, financial modeling, cost control, and KPIs

Administer tax filings, intercompany accounting, cash flow management

Identify and execute against systems improvement initiatives reporting enhancements, process automation
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred

3–5 years in progressive accounting/finance roles, including multi-entity consolidation and P&L management

Expertise in U.S. GAAP, compliance, audit readiness, and internal control frameworks

Strong analytical skills: forecasting, budgeting, variance explanations, scenario modeling

Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct) and advanced Excel/reporting tools

Excellent communication skills—able to translate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
