Senior Staff Accountant
A leading manufacturing company located just outside of Boston is looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to their growing team. My client is seeking candidates with 5+ years of strong accounting experience specifically within a manufacturing or construction environment. As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for all general accounting, specifically account analysis, reconciliation, operation/financial reporting, and construction contract billing. This role offers competitive pay, strong benefits, a bonus and will require to be onsite 4 days/week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with month end close
- Monthly balancing of G/L accounts and bank account reconciliation
- Support and assist with monthly operational and financial reporting
- Perform monthly analysis (Sales, P&L, Balance Sheet) by G/L account, cost center, department, catching mis-postings and performing correcting entries
- Maintain and standardize balance sheet account reconciliations, for reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Support and assist with monthly operational and financial reporting.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS Degree in Accounting/Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience within construction or manufacturing
- Contract accounting and billing is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP/BI/AFO is desired
- Must be willing to be onsite 4 days/week
