Senior Accountant (Onsite for Onboarding, Hybrid after Onboarding)
A luxury linen retail company, located south of Boston, is actively seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This person will be reporting to the Controller and will be responsible for all of the accounting duties related to maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, including month-end closing and duties pertaining to AR. Responsibilities:
- Process all aspects of the Revenue Cycle and Accounts Receivable, including but not limited to reporting, reconciliation, payment application, and collections.
- Prepare accurate general ledger reconciliations, including deferred sales revenue, sales tax, billing, royalties, and commissions.
- Ensuring the accuracy of the monthly commission reports.
- Serve as liaison to internal and external customers.
- Build relationships at all levels of the organization to promote strong communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and understanding of GAAP accounting required
- 5-7 years of accounting experience. Familiarity with system implementation
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and manufacturing ERP systems
- Must be willing to work onsite during onboarding, schedule will transition to hybrid after onboarding
