Revenue Operations Analyst
Location: Boston, MA (Onsite 4 days/week)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Compensation: $25–35/hour (based on experience)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Revenue Operations Analyst to join the Invoicing team at a highly successful investment management firm based in Boston. In this role, you will support the calculation, review, and preparation of both standard and complex management and performance-based fee invoices across a diverse client base.
The Revenue Operations Analyst will work closely with Client Services and Investment Product teams and engage directly with clients to address invoicing-related inquiries. This opportunity is well-suited for someone with 1–2 years of invoicing experience in the financial services industry who is eager to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate, prepare, process, and review management fee invoices and supporting documentation, including base fees, performance/variable fees, and applicable taxes, using multiple systems and data sources.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate existing and proposed Most Favored Nation (MFN) arrangements and analyze their revenue impact.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from internal teams and external clients regarding invoicing and revenue matters.
  • Support the preparation and organization of data for System and Organization Controls (SOC) audits.
  • Assist with testing, validation, and implementation of system enhancements, including a major platform upgrade planned for later this year.
  • Review and approve the setup of new accounts in the revenue platform to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain clear process documentation for current workflows and future onboarding.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1–2 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
  • Prior invoicing experience within financial services strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with solid business judgment and interest in financial markets.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, problem-solve effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn proprietary systems.
  • Experience with RevPort is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
