Recruitment Specialist
We are currently seeking candidates for a Recruitment Specialist role with a well-established consumer products company located in the Greater Boston area. The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting efforts for hourly positions and partnering with hiring managers throughout the talent acquisition process. The ideal candidate will have 2-5+ years of recruitment experience in retail, hospitality, manufacturing, consumer products, or a similar environment. This Recruitment Specialist opportunity offers the chance to join a collaborative talent acquisition team supporting a fast-paced and dynamic organization.
This is a 5–6-month contract position (through the end of the year) paying between $35-$45/hour (depending on experience).
This Recruitment Specialist role supports a hybrid work model, consisting of 3 days on-site and 2 days remote per week. Candidates must be local to the Greater Boston area and willing to work onsite in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting activities for hourly and high-volume positions across the organization.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and understand hiring needs.
- Source, screen, and evaluate candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain clear communication with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Deliver a positive candidate experience from initial outreach through the offer stage.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
- Prioritize multiple openings and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support talent acquisition initiatives and process improvements.
- Monitor recruiting pipelines and provide updates on hiring progress as needed.
- Provide additional Recruiter and talent acquisition support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2-5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience required.
- Previous experience recruiting for hourly positions within retail, hospitality, manufacturing, consumer products, or similar industries preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a high-volume recruiting environment.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management abilities.
- Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems required; specific systems experience a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Highly motivated candidates with approximately one year of relevant recruiting experience will also be considered if they demonstrate strong potential and transferable skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
