Property Accountant
A well-established real estate investment firm, located north of Boston, is seeking a Property Accountant to join their team. This position will be responsible for leading property level reporting for a number of individual assets within a larger industrial fund or portfolio. This position will report directly to the CFO and Accounting Manager. This is a hybrid position and the firm is looking to pay between $65k-$75k on a base salary plus bonus and benefits.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Perform month-end close process for a portfolio of properties

Prepare monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts for the assigned portfolio

Prepare quarterly and year-end CAM reconciliations

Prepare monthly financial packages for distribution to property managers and asset managers

Monitor accounts receivables and cash receipts

Initiate and record cash transfers (wires and check processing)
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

One to two years of accounting experience in commercial real estate

Experience with Yardi accounting software preferred

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Individual must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
