Project Manager/Scrum Master – Financial Services – Boston, MA
Daley And Associates is currently seeking a mid-senior level Project Manager that will be pivotal in supporting our clients trading domain. This candidate is required to be local Boston as this is a hybrid role, three days per week in office. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CRD and a minimum of 6 years’ experience in asset management.
This is a long-term consulting position (6+ months)
Responsibilities:
- Practice and advocate Agile mindset and behaviors, mentoring teams on Agile principles, values, and practices while exemplifying company leadership behaviors.
- Lead the application of Agile practices (Scrum or Kanban) independently for multiple teams, including visualizing work, managing workflow, planning, and guiding daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospective meetings.
- Guide Agile teams in delivering required product increments and outcomes, ensuring progress toward objectives, KPIs, and commitments.
- Identify opportunities to enhance team-level Agile performance, focusing on customer value, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Remove team-level impediments, resolve conflicts, anticipate challenges, identify risks, and recommend mitigations and solutions.
- Utilize learnings and best practices to enhance Agile practices within the company.
- Foster open communication among team members and stakeholders, promoting positive team dynamics for effective collaboration.
- Build alliances across teams and business communities, facilitating scaled planning activities.
- Actively contribute to the Agile Community and increase overall Agile maturity for teams.
- Support Agile teams with varying levels of maturity, upskilling them in Agile practices.
- Potentially manage the flow of work through an entire domain as a scrum-of-scrum role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Three years’ experience in a Project Management, Scrum Master, or similar Agile role applying Agile principles and practices.
- Strong experience and knowledge of trading systems.
- Programming/development experience preferred.
- Experience implementing best practices and standards related to Agile product development.
- Leadership skills with the ability to earn trust while challenging teams to improve in an Agile environment.

- Project Management skills to guide teams towards specific goals within specified timelines.
