Product Marketing Manager – Financial Services – Boston, MA

We are seeking candidates for a Product Marketing Manager to join a highly successful financial services firm located in Boston, MA. The Product Marketing Manager will lead and execute integrated marketing campaigns, with a focus on product launches. The ideal candidate will have 4-5+ years of product marketing experience with a strong understanding of 40 Act rules and distribution of ETFs preferably within the financial services industry. 

This is a 6+ month contract position that will pay $40-45/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour workweek. This position is required to be onsite 4 days per week in their Boston office. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through implementation.

  • Manage multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are high-quality.

  • Facilitate planning meetings, track progress, and manage deliverables including requests, reviews, and publications.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing efforts align with business objectives.

  • Oversee product launch initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and effective market entry.

  • Utilize marketing and project management tools to streamline workflows and track progress.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and leadership teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.

  • 4-5+ years of relevant marketing experience, with previous financial services or product marketing experience preferred.

  • Prior experience leading and executing integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Understanding of 40 Act rules and the distribution of ETFs and other registered investment products (ideally within the intermediary space).

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Prior experience utilizing Adobe AEM and Workfront.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM platforms.

  • Proficiency in essential marketing and productivity software.

  • Research and project-based experience with the ability to see beyond a specific task to the broader project goals.

  • Experience working as part of a collaborative team toward a shared objective.
