Physical Therapist
Our client, an established hospital in Sierra Vista, Arizona, is currently seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join their team. This is a strong opportunity for a PT interested in a hospital-based setting working with a diverse patient population and collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy plans of care based on clinical and functional needs.

Provide evidence-based interventions focused on improving mobility, strength, balance, pain management, and functional independence.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans and goals as appropriate.

Document evaluations, treatments, progress, and recommendations in accordance with clinical and professional standards.

Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, occupational and speech therapists, case management, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.

Educate patients and caregivers on mobility, safety strategies, therapeutic exercises, and continued care needs.

Participate in discharge planning and make recommendations for continued therapy, equipment, or supportive services as appropriate.
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

Current Physical Therapy (PT) license in the state of practice

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Rehabilitation or acute-care experience preferred
