Payroll Manager
We are currently seeking candidates for a Payroll Manager at a consumer goods co. with a location in Salem, NH, 03079 to manage processing payroll for 3000+ employees (8 states & Canada).
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of payroll manager experience responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll for multiple entities. This is a 4+ month temporary role.
Hourly pay rate: Up to $70.00 (based on relevant work experience)
On-site 3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee 1 Payroll Administrator
- Oversee the processing of the bi-weekly payroll
- Process new hires, terminations, and changes to employees into the payroll systems
- Work with all the site managers on issues and items
- Work with Human Resources on benefit accruals
- Oversee Reporting and Payroll Analysis Reporting
- Manage the Quarter-end and Year-end Wage and Tax Registers reconciliation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3+ years of payroll manager experience
- Experience with ADP and Workday is required
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is preferred
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local wages and hour laws
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
