Payroll Associate
Location: NH, On boarder of MA
Type: Contract to Hire (hybrid schedule)
Rate: $35 per hour
Large service company is looking to bring on a payroll professional that has strong skills in Workday and ADP Payroll. This professional will be a key member of a high performing payroll team processing domestic and Canadian payroll.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process bi-weekly payrolls via Workday for 2-3000 employees
- Process off cycle payroll requests related to employee terminations in accordance with state regulations
- Update payroll Files as compensation changes apply and title changes happen
- Maintain payroll records and review ADP tax filing files
- Participate in worker’s compensation insurance, 401k, unemployment, and financial audits
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and other job-related duties as assigned
- Assist in Streamlining SOP’s
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, sciences, or related field preferred, but not required
- 2+ years of payroll experience
- Knowledge of Workday, ADP and Excel skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and build priority list to meet and exceed deadlines.
- Strong PC and technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detailed and customer service focused
