Office Assistant
We are currently seeking candidates for an Office Assistant opportunity with a highly successful wealth management firm located in Newton, MA. The Office Assistant will provide administrative support to the tax team during the upcoming tax season. Responsibilities will include preparing and organizing documents, performing data entry, updating client information, tracking deadlines, and supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of administrative experience in a corporate environment.  

This is a 3-4 month contract opportunity, paying between $25-$30/hour (depending on experience). This role supports a 5 days per week onsite work model.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to ensure the team’s workflow remains efficient during peak season
  • Assist the tax team with preparation and organization of tax documents and client files
  • Maintain and update databases and filing systems with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support the team in data entry and basic report generation as needed
  • Help track deadlines and ensure timely submission of required documents
  • Uphold strict confidentiality standards to protect sensitive client information

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required)
  • 1+ years of administrative experience in professional services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support the team as needed
