Mutual Fund Accountant
We are currently seeking candidates for a Mutual Fund Accountant at a global asset management co. with a location in Downtown Minneapolis, MN, 55401.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1.5+ years of fund accounting, trade settlement or investment operations experience.
This is a temporary role (est. 12 months) with an opportunity of becoming permanent and will pay between $32.00 and $35.00 per hour within a 40-hour work week.
On-site 3 days per week.
Starts February 9th, 2026.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily reconciliation of fund cash activity including international transactions
- Daily reconciliation of account holdings and activity
- Reconciliation of holdings and transactions between the various systems and custodian banks
- Prepare wire transfers to fund investment activity
- Monitor daily cash flows and respond to internal and external inquiries regarding available cash balances
- Support maintenance of securities and prices
- Daily, month and quarterly reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Finance)
- Minimum 1.5+ years of fund accounting, trade settlement or investment operations experience.
- Team player with a strong focus on getting the job done within established strict timeframes
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
