Marketing Publishing Specialist – Boston, MA

We are seeking candidates for a Marketing Publishing Specialist position with a top-tier investment management firm located in Boston, MA. This position will join the Operations Publishing Team and will work across factsheets, marketing materials, forms, applications, and regulatory documents, supporting production, review, editing, and publishing. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of publishing experience within the financial services industry. 

This is a 12+ month contract position that will pay $28-34/hr (depending on experience). This position is required to be onsite 3 days per week in their Boston office.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Publishing Manager to understand and prioritize material requirements

  • Produce print and digital documents using desktop publishing tools and design standards in a deadline-driven environment

  • Primarily work in InDesign and Illustrator on a PC platform

  • Edit and prepare documents; deliver PDFs for internal review

  • Manage electronic and hardcopy files and coordinate final files for printing and translation vendors

  • Maintain ongoing file organization and desktop production housekeeping

  • Support publishing and distribution of domestic and offshore regulatory documents

  • Assist with monthly and quarterly updates to factsheets and sales collateral

  • Collaborate with associates and the Quality Control team to review semi-automated materials

  • Ensure accuracy, meet deadlines, manage multiple projects, and adapt to shifting priorities

  • Complete additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications or related field required

  • 1-3+ years of publishing experience within a professional setting is ideal

  • Strong knowledge of PC based programs including, but not limited to: InDesign, Illustrator, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft applications

  • Ability to manage individual projects, multitask and problem solve when issues or questions arise

  • Willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Able to work both collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently
