Marketing Communications Manager – Boston, MA (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to join a global medical technology company in Boston, MA. This role will lead the development and execution of strategic, multi-channel communications to support product launches and key business initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive brand-aligned marketing efforts across digital and print platforms, manage cross-functional collaboration, and oversee external partners to deliver impactful, cohesive campaigns. This position requires a strong foundation in social strategy, branding, and content production, along with experience within the medical device industry.
This is a 6-month contract position (with potential to extend) that will pay $40-48/hour (depending on experience) within a 40-hour workweek. This position supports a hybrid work model, on-site 2-3 days per week in their Boston office.
Responsibilities:

Partner with global leaders and cross-functional teams to shape and execute market engagement strategies, including branding, awareness, lead generation, SEO, website strategy, positioning, KPI development, and media planning.

Ensure all marketing materials and communications consistently align with brand standards, corporate guidelines, and industry compliance requirements.

Drive the development and rollout of core brand messaging across global content and marketing collateral.

Support end-to-end project management for digital and print marketing initiatives, including timelines, deliverables, and budget oversight.

Collaborate with global events, tradeshow, and sales teams to support the successful execution of meetings and on-site activations, while maintaining clear stakeholder communication throughout.

Partner with internal teams to enhance and optimize digital assets and platforms, including websites, DAM systems, CRM, CMS, and sales enablement tools.

Manage relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with communication strategies and project objectives.

Lead continuous improvement efforts by refining marketing processes and implementing scalable, efficient workflows.

Track and analyze KPIs across marketing programs to measure performance and identify opportunities for optimization.

Provide additional support across marketing and communications initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

3–5+ years of marketing communications experience within medical device, life sciences, healthcare, software, agency, or a related industry.

Proven experience managing end-to-end agency relationships and external partners.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Hands-on experience with Smartsheet required.

Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Brandfolder, Print on Demand, Showpad, or similar tools.

Strong project management capabilities, including timeline ownership, content review/proofing, stakeholder coordination, and global execution.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams and levels.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate with global stakeholders, and ensure adherence to corporate and industry standards.
