IT Project Manager – Insurance Analytics – Boston, MA
Daley And Associates is currently seeking an IT Project Manager for a client who is a growing Insurance Analytics firm in the Boston area. As an IT Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading small, medium, and large-scale initiatives, coordinating project activities, ensuring the successful completion of various IT projects.
This role will pay a base salary up to $130K.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the planning, execution, and closing phases of IT projects
- Develop project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget, and ensure adherence to them throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, resource requirements, and deliverables
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of expectations
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and proactively address any issues that may arise
- Facilitate project meetings, ensuring that actions are documented and followed-up on
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, leading and successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- PMP certification is a plus
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is highly desirable
