Investment Trade Operations Analyst 
We are currently seeking candidates for an Investment Trade Operations Analyst opportunity with a leading Financial Services firm located in Boston, MA. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting daily investment operations and transaction processing within a collaborative operations team. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided, making this an ideal role for candidates looking to begin a career in financial services.

This is a 6+ month contract opportunity, paying $20-$24/hour within a 40-hour work week. The position follows a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote). Candidates must be local to the Greater Boston area and available to work onsite in Boston, MA, three days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Support daily operational processing for investment and securities-related transactions
  • Review, process, and reconcile transaction activity to ensure accuracy and timely completion
  • Process corporate action events, payments, and client account updates
  • Monitor account activity and investigate discrepancies or exceptions
  • Communicate with internal teams and external partners regarding transaction status and outstanding items
  • Maintain accurate operational records and complete reporting as required
  • Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with established procedures and deadlines
  • Assist with additional operational projects and process improvement initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field preferred
  • 0–2 years of professional experience (internships included)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Interest in financial services, investment operations, or capital markets
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
