Investment Operations Analyst – (Remote)
Contract-to-Hire | $19-$20/hour | 40 hours/week
An elite investment management firm headquartered in Boston is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to join its Fixed Income team. This is a remote, contract-to-hire role with an initial term of 6+ months, offering an excellent opportunity for recent graduates looking to launch their careers in finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor client portfolio activity, including cash flows, daily expenses, collateral positions, and receivables
- Retrieve and analyze data from custodian banks for portfolio reporting
- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly control books and audit documentation
- Investigate and resolve portfolio discrepancies using Bloomberg and internal systems
- Perform account reconciliations using Excel to ensure data accuracy
- Meet reporting and project deadlines with precision and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance (required)
- 0–1+ years of relevant experience, including internships
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
