HR Business Partner – Manufacturing (Medical Device Industry)

We are partnering with a rapidly growing, global advanced manufacturing organization within the medical device space to identify an experienced HR Business Partner to support a high-growth production site in the Danbury, CT area.

This organization is a leader in advanced engineering, prototyping, and micro-manufacturing, supporting innovation across the med device industry. The environment is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and focused on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and building a strong employee experience.

This is a key on-site HR leadership role partnering directly with site leadership to execute people strategies that drive engagement, performance, and organizational scalability.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with site leadership to align HR strategy with business and operational priorities
  • Lead execution of core HR programs, including talent management, workforce planning, compensation, and employee engagement
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring for hourly, skilled labor, and temporary workforce needs
  • Manage employee relations, including investigations and resolution of complex issues
  • Support performance management, leadership development, and succession planning initiatives
  • Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to identify insights and drive solutions
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws in partnership with HR leadership and legal teams
  • Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness
  • Support training and development initiatives across the site

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of HR Generalist or HRBP experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Strong background across employee relations, compensation, workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning
  • Experience supporting both hourly and salaried populations in a fast-paced setting
  • Bachelor’s degree required (HR or related field preferred)
  • Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now and SuccessFactors strongly preferred
