Healthcare organization located in New York, NY, 10028 seeks a General Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS certification).
We are looking for a professional with 3+ years of experience of independent operation of ultrasound equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examination to the physician.
This is a permanent role, the hourly pay rate is between $45.00 and $55.00 (based on relevant work experience) within a 40-hour work week.
On-site 5 days per week.
Job will start Jan. 26th, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical assessment and diagnostic ultrasound examinations
- Review ultrasounds, synthesize ultrasound information, medical history, and communicate findings to the appropriate physician
- Responsible for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients while they are in the technologist’s care
- Assist with the daily operations of the Ultrasound Department
- Establish and maintain ethical working relationships with all interrelating hospitals
- Perform all requested sonographic examinations as requested by the attending physician
Qualifications:
- 3 years’ prior Ultrasound experience
- ARDMS certified
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effective communicator, comfortable interacting with different people and departments
- Must be very organized and able to manage time extremely well
- Must be a dependable team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment
